Jacob Andrew Wheat aka Jake Wheat has been in the music/digital marketing business for 20 years and lives in Louisville, Kentucky.

Wheat started his career journey as for The Louisville Water Company, and during his time in that position began creating videos and organizing their internal campaigns for the Kentucky Fund For The Arts.  He left the position to move into food marketing, and to further his career.

Investing his time with food and beverage items, Wheat began his journey into the world of Information Technology with the advent of a position with The Raque Group, and maintaining the technological functions of their communications and marketing.  Websites, food ads, videos, and even the birth of many concepts of business were birthed there.

Sadly, The Raque Group dissolved and Wheat left and went on to work for Universal Records South, working with artists like Joe Nichols, Phil Vassar, Matthew West, Shooter Jennings, and Cross Canadian Ragweed.

Wheat left Universal Records to take a position with AT&T which quickly transitioned to a visual communications job internally, marketing to the employees and creating videos for their internal training and customer service.

Wheat moved from that job to begin his own journey with JakeWheat.com formally known as StreetBlastMedia.com. Wheat’s clients take the highest priority.

Currently Wheat works with signed artists and performers, and also does marketing work for individual business owners, including:

Deana Carter, Jake Shimabukuro, Stoney LaRue, and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, while doing additional marketing projects for other external businesses outside of music like Tuscany Italian Restaurant.
